Guest guest
Bee, I have been reading about German New Medicine and wondering if you know anything about it. There is a clinic in Canada that teaches lectures on it. Forgive me if someone has already discussed it. I did a search in the files and couldn't find anything on the topic. Thanks,

Guest guest
Hi , I have read some on it, but I am not very impressed and here is why. One main " Biological Law " that GNM bases all others on is the following. " Every Significant Biological Special Program (SBS) originates from a DHS (Dirk Hamer Syndrome), which is a serious, highly acute, dramatic and isolating conflict shock that occurs simultaneously on the three levels: PSYCHE - BRAIN - ORGAN. " Now, if you read between the lines on this, its just a fancy way of describing adrenal fatigue. " Serious, highly acute, dramatic and isolating conflict shock " is something that would serisously impact your adrenals, as your adrenals help manage stress. GNM states states that stress is managed on three different levels, the body, the brain, and the psyche. Well, the adrenals work on all those levels. The hormones made by the adrenals impact both the body and brain, as well as behavior (or psyche as GNM likes to call it). GNM also advocates resolution of the original shock, that lead to the person's current health crisis, with different interventions, including therapy. This too has been apart of adrenal fatigue protocols for some time. Therapy as well as relaxation techniques like breathing exercises have been used for some time to reduce stress and therefore improve adrenal function. If you are familiar with adrenal fatigue, it is pretty apparent how adrenal fatigue impairs your body's ability to heal, and thus makes a person more prone to all sorts of other problems. The difference between GNM and adrenal fatigue is that adrenal fatigue is pretty straight forward, where GNM over hypes their research and makes it seem more in depth than what it really is. By reading in between the lines, to me, GNM just seems like an over hyped stress management tool. And this is why I would back Bee's program over GNM, or any other new fangled approach. Her program doesn't just deal with candida, it takes into account so many other health issues (such as adrenal fatigue) and it provides for our nutritional needs to help our bodies achieve optimal health. Don't get me wrong, I can see how GNM could work, and that it could be helpful, but I think Bee's program is much more encompassing. Bee's program gives us back control over our own health, and shows us how to take care of ourselves, rather than encouraging a dependence on doctors and their theories, theories that overcomplicate the simple truth that food really is the best medicine! Guest guest
Hello Jecca, Thank you for your response. I appreciate your thoughts. I do have adrenal exhaustion-stage 2 so I do understand all that you are saying about the adrenals and how they affect so much of our body systems. When I wrote the email, I wasn't intending to compare it with Bee's program. I am just always reading and researching and just wondering what others think along the way. I do appreciate Bee's work and program and have been helped greatly by it. Thanks again, From: jeccajay@... Guest guest
Hi , Oh, I'm sorry , I didnt mean to imply that you were comparing it to Bee's diet. I just automatically do that myself! I just am always so impressed with Bee's program and how extensive and all encompassing it is, even when and especially if I see another diet or health program. Nothing ever seems as complete or thorough or as simple as her approach, and I can't help but point that out! Jecca " ) --- Hudson <rachelthudson@...> wrote: ....Thank you for your response.
