Strange that talapia is on the safe list, even though most of it comes

from farms in Asia/China, and no telling HOW polluted it is over

there! I'm anxious to see what Bee thinks of this list... some things

don't make a lot of sense.

==>I do not know what talapia IS, and I don't have the time to research

each one on the safe list. If anyone else has time I'd appreciate the

help.

Talapia is African Perch. It thrives in the Salton Sea, a dead body

of water 30 miles south of Palm Springs, Ca. I don't know where else

it comes from. Susie

I'm just going to go today to a fresh fish market and buy some wild-

caught Alaskan salmon, that's full of good fat! That way, I don't need

to worry about other kinds of fish. :)

I've noticed in the grocery store that most of the fish in the freezer

comes from China. I wouldn't trust ANY FOOD coming from China!!! (Or

anything else, for that matter).

We just watched a show on fish farms in China, and indeed, due to

overwhelming demand, there is more waste than they know what to do

with. Therefore, they must treat the fish with toxins. Stay away

from farmed fish!
