Guest guest Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 My fourteen year old daughter has had eczema on her hands for a couple of years on and off but now she has it in a lot more places on her body and her hands have gotten real bad and she gets upset because people start asking her what is wrong with your hands? Eczema is is evidence that your daughter and your husband's immune systems are very depressed. Eczema, like other skin problems is the result of toxins and a lack of nutrients. Eczema is very common in candida sufferers, so it is likely they both have it. I would like at this time to recommend that one way we could start the new year out wisely is to recommend this book. These books had a hand in leading me to use FrequenSea because of all the things recommend to take, in the books. I was able to get all of the nutritional values recommeded and more in one product!!! Also consider the liver, and use appropriate detox/supplemental support there. Fish oil and vitamin E can be helpful too. Drink plenty of clean water. Use natural fats like olive oil, butter, VCO, versus corn and vegetable oils. Theresa...my daughter had a yeast infection that looked like excema just days after she was born, thanks to me. It receded and then re- emerged when she was 6, all over her trunk and top of her head. I got advise to take her off wheat, which I did, and whithin 2 months the excema was gone. Or, probably, more accurately, receded. I am slowly introducing the basics of this food plan to my kids, knowing her health can be restored in a relatively short period of time. For my daughter, eczema is the very first tell symptom that her candida is flaring up and as soon as we get it back under control her eczema goes away again. The diet that has worked the best for us is outlined at (another group). The key component being sufficient healthy fats for her weight index. When her eczema has flared up, have her soak in in an epsom salt bath (about 2c of salts for a 1/2 full tub) for at least 20 min, all affected parts submerged. Then rinse off in shower, towel dry a bit and immediately apply a heavy cream like Euceurin (with no parabens or fragrance) to trap in moisture. Do this daily until it clears up.
