Guest guest
A good wetting agent for cleaning salads and fresh grocery produce -- that might be contaminated with hard crusty fecal matter (as from bird droppings) -- is the Amway LOC (Liquid Organic Cleaner). LOC has been around for 40 years and is demonstrated on-stage by retail distributors drinking a bit of it to show off its safety. It is an all-purpose " biodegradable phosphate-free surfactant " manufactured from palm oil soap that cuts grease and makes water wetter by lowering water surface tension and dissolving fats and oils. The company also manufactures non-toxic commercial spray adjuvants which are used in organic farming applications. -- Warren PS: I am not an Amway distributor (but my brother in law is, and he drop ships to anywhere in the US -- my doorstep). I use their products due to their high quality and economy (because they are concentrated). LOC will be up to 100 times less expensive than a grocery store veggie cleaner that is diluted with water. And the quality will be superior too. ============================== On 24 Dec 2003, wrote: > > [Regarding hard crusty fecal contamination on grocery produce] > Thanks, Warren.
