This is not to support or not support the message you were responding

to. ly, I really did not give it any attention.

Just wanted to write, I agree with you 100%. On some of the lists,

there are people practicing medicine without the benefit of medical

education. Some of them are involved with doctors who are trying to

market products so their advice naturally includes purchasing those

products.

If anyone posts something they disagree with, they jump all over the

poster, put the poster on moderation, etc.

When I first came to the lists I was scared, very vulnerable. So I

know how it feels to be grabbing at straws and have sympathy for

others in this position who often take the advice given by these

people without any thought.

If they were doing this unknowingly I could even allow for that.

However, a number of them have been challenged and people have

explained why they were challenging them and it was quite clear it

did not matter. No conscience. Interestingly, most of them seem to

be just the ones who criticize medical doctors. This is not to

suggest there aren't incompetent doctors practicing medicine.

I've noticed an openness on this list and appreciate that very much.

Thanks. I hope you find whatever help you need here. You'll find a lot

of different opinions. For questions pertaining to science Chuck is the

go-to. For alternative views on iodine use in hypothyroidism it's

Gracia and Sam; but be aware their recommendations are not in agreement

with main stream medicine. Yet they seem to have great results in self

treatment.

Any questions, just ask. But use a bit of judgment in evaluating the

answers. You can find, good, bad, and fatal advice on the net. Self

education is a must; but if you can pick out the con artists without

even thinking about it you have a leg up on a lot of people.

I can't remember what, if anything, you've posted before; so my

apologies if I've missed something obvious.
