Perhaps you misunderstood my post Francesca. This person wrote to me offlist. I did not approach them offlist. I simply wanted to express that I had not ignored their post. I see nothing selfish in my trying to convey that.

Kim: I would encourage you to answer any such off list inquiries ON the

list. That's what we're all here for. To learn from one another. If I may

be blunt, it's kind of selfish to " hide out " and not want to share on the

list where we all benefit from the information.

i did not misunderstand. I am saying that the person who does not post on

list (the person who wrote to you) is not sharing with the group. I suggest

they post on line so we are all helped rather than just themselves getting

help. That's what the group is for. Alternately, please post any response

to the list (you can leave the person anonymous in such cases) so other

newbies and the rest of us can benefit.
