Guest guest
Also, regarding getting to sleep, I find Benadryl (an antihistimine) will make me very sleepy. The same ingredient is also found in Tylenol's " Simply Sleep " over-the-counter pills. Trouble is, you WILL feel groggy in the morning, but it wears off by mid morning usually. --Diane

Guest guest
Hi Nancie, > also- acupuncture, It may come to that. My doc put me on trazadone and melatonin before bedtime. So far, so good. I actually dreamed last night. In that dream, I started taking isocort. Maybe I should try that too. > white noise also works. Does my wife's snoring count? ;-) I would wear earplugs, but somebody has to be able to hear the alarm clock. Thanks, -Mike %^)
Guest guest
Hi Diane, We buy benadryl in the *economy* size because my wife has terrible allergies. I have used it for sleep but I am trying very hard to stay away from it because it seriously impedes my ability to work out in the morning. The stuff gives me quite a hangover. It is very good for those nights where nothing else works. Thanks, -Mike %^) > Also, regarding getting to sleep, I find Benadryl (an antihistimine) will make me very sleepy. Guest guest
it dosen't make sense to me to give someone trazadone instead of enough thyroid meds. oh wait......drug kickbacks give your wife thyroid meds too. Guest guest
Also, if you just use it those nights " nothing else works " , you don't build up a resistance to it, thereby lessening its effect for later " hard to get to sleep " nights. Granted, if you do take it to get to sleep, plan to have a leisurely next morning, if you can. --Diane > From: Mike Lawson <mlawson66@...> > Hi Diane, > > We buy benadryl in the *economy* size because my wife has > terrible allergies. She started on Armour Friday! She is definitely showing signs of life. I was really beginning to miss her. For the last couple of months, it has been hard to find where the couch stops and she starts. We actually got out this weekend and saw the sun TOGETHER! Armour ROCKS! Well, what ever thyroid med works for you-ROCKS! -Mike
