Guest guest
Here are 3 healthy foods highly recommended to reduce body weight. In fact, failure to use these foods is a mistake for anyone who is fighting a weight control problem. 1) Use cocoa: It contains more anti-oxidant heart healthy bioflavenoids than coffee or tea (2 to 3 times more, as previously reported -- Science News Daily -- 3 different articles). Cocoa from its caffeine component also induces increased sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity (see below), which is useful for weight control -- and alertness and mental function. It tastes delicious, is an energy pickup, and is especially low calorie at 10 Cal/TBL in the form of defatted cocoa powder (of the Saco Brand I provide). 2) Use chili: This spice has many, many favorable effects for weight loss. Chili powder is the #1 most widely used spice in the world (discounting salt/pepper). Chili powder contains the famous red pepper fragment capsaicin (CAP) widely used to treat illness and acute diseases, including flu, respiratory illness, bronchitis, pneumonia, and many more. I plan to post more about chili powder in another message, since it is a favorite for people around the world. As the #1 spice, it is delicious and tasty in soups and foods, adding heaps of flavor and having virtually no calories at all. 3) Use guar: (and micronized cellulose). The two together add the essential and healthful digestive food components: Soluble fiber (guar) and its complement: insoluble fiber (cellulose). Much favorable attention has focused on these two wonder foods. There should be no need to explain further the benefits of how they help to control appetite, help reduce food intake, and improve satiety. Virtually all specialty diet foods contain them in abundance, and their omission is a great mistake. These 3 items: Caffeine (cocoa powder has it), capsaicin (chili powder has it), and digestive fiber (guar and cellulose have it) are mentioned in the article on weight control below. This is all common sense, but how many of us use them like we should or could? All are available on the internet, and I carry them too in bulk, since I use them daily. I have 90 Lbs guar sitting in my storage room right now, and use maybe 20 lbs a year. For those who order (Sucralose, guar, cellulose, cocoa, Satietrol, LorAnn Oils & Flavors), I have been giving away the following: Free chili spice (almost a pound), free raw carob (a pound), and free fine cinnamon spice (almost a pound), take your pick. I must post more on chili spice, since I can not imagine life without it. See the tech reference below for more weight control info. -- Warren =========== Concluding paragraph from the following research report: [8] Eur J Clin Nutr 1997 Dec;51(12):846-855 Food intake, energy balance and body weight control. Doucet E, Tremblay A. Physical Activity Sciences Laboratory, PEPS, Laval University, Ste-Foy, Quebec, Canada. PMID: 9426360 Obesity has also often been associated to a decreased sympathetic nervous system (SNS) activity, hence sympathomimetic agents have been proposed as a possible way to partially correct this situation. Two of these agents are the widely consumed caffeine (CAF) and the pungent principle of hot red pepper, capsaicin (CAP), which acutely increase energy expenditure (EE) and reduce energy intake (EI) under some circumstances. Furthermore, other factors like dietary fibers, that have been shown to increase satiety and fullness, and reduce energy intake (EI) in some cases, should also be considered.
