In my earlier post I was simply sharing what I had heard from several people. After reading your troubling comments below I too was concerned. I did a google search, located the company's web site http://www.thepathway.org and under the " contact us " link found their phone number (they are located in San , CA): 415-457-3331. I called and was immediately greeted by an informed, helpful & pleasant associate. Anonymously, I mentioned each of your points and here is what I learned in response to the complaints you listed in your post: (1) The Pathway recently changed their entire web site and it has been up and down, intermittently for about 10 days. They have gotten many complaints about it, but it is running smoothly now. In all of the confusion, many emails were never received or were rerouted incorrectly. They were very apologetic about it and admitted that they " screw up " in that regard, but also stated that they are not sure they could have avoided some of the problems. In any case, the explained that all those issues were now resolved. (2) If you have bought Kit 1, you do not need to spend any more more, at least initially. There is a free, introductory program that you are allowed to sign up for and participate in immediately at this point. (I don't know anything about this program; I'm just relaying what the associate told me.) (3) *ALL* the difficulties you were having contacting them (and receiving responses) were related to the web site's construction (or reconstruction). Their official policy is to respond quickly to all contacts. (4) If the group you mention is not *directly* affiliated with (and hosted by) The Pathway organization, they can't vouch for why it sent you where it did. If they are connected, then there was a miscommunication somewhere; I was told, in no uncertain terms, that you are *not* required to purchase anything more to participate in an introductory program. I spoke the with the representative for about 10 minutes and I was both impressed and pleased with her openness, explanations, and willingness to answer all my questions (believe me, when I first call them, after reading your post below I was suspicious and skeptical!). Before you draw any final conclusions, I suggest you call the phone number above and speak to someone there. The woman with whom I spoke told me to encourage you to do so. She expressed her wish to clear up any misunderstandings that exist. Good luck! Uh...I'm kind of turned off by the site. I read the book, wanted to get into a group or circle. So I signed up on the group finder (3 separate times on diff. days) and got back a blank screen. I tried to sign up for the " free " introduction course and the only way to sign up is to buy one of their (pricey) products. I already have kit 1, so I don't want to buy anything else. So I wrote to them last Wed. and I've gotten no answer so far. I also posted on a group about this and was immediately sent to a page to order the products. When I explained that I didn't need to purchase anything, I got no response. I'm beginning to feel like this is all about money and am wondering if some of the people hyping it are really salespeople from the company...FWIW
