Myth? By whose definition? Excuse me, men and women, I too, am an engineer,

that's true.

Scientists are men AND WOMEN. And not one worth a toot supports a 6000

year life span on earth.

Kinda like when you put G-D is ridiculous to me. It is a sign of respect to

me. I know His name isn't God, but I don't call Him Harry I call Him God so

I capitalize His " name " like it is a proper name. :)

I think the main way Christianity is different than other religions is that

we believe that we need the savior to get to God. He (Jesus) is the only

way to the creator. SO, although I realize that other religions have a set

of rules to live by, my " religion " has another level in which is much more

eternal than our actions towards others. I also think worship is a deep

spiritual need, I hope you do not think I was trying to say different.

It is also a sign of respect to me to do what I do, and I really don't care for

you commenting

Well since you are so busy worshiping Jesus, you might try following his

teachings about being good and kind to other people. How can you possibly hope

to get closer to him by

behaving cruelly to others?

A light year is a measure of distance. While not precise it is almost

5.9 trillion miles.

And I've asked you before: How the heck are you going to sacrifice

virgins without being arrested for child abuse??? [ggg]

With the temperature in sunny Florida being below freezing Wednesday

night there's a heck of a lot of " worshiping the heater " going on! We

freeze here when the temp drops to 50; and one snowflake makes a

blizzard. Not at all tough like the people in Gracia's part of the world...

I am very kind to others. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise. I

LOVE helping other people and I think all of us on this group do and that is

why we are here. I think we can get closer by being in His Word and prayer.

If we are doing these things then I'm sure He will tell us (convict us) to

be nice, especially since it says it in His Word (maybe the person didn't

get to read that part yet).

Gracia poked fun at the fact that I use the spelling G-d to indicate the

creator. I

was responding to that, and then you piped up with something upsetting to me

and I answered you. It looks like there was a misunderstanding of who said

what

to whom.

If you would read this whole thing from the beginning, you will see it didn't

address you,

but rather something that said and we talked, Gracia said something

disrespectful

and I answered her for and then Gracia said it was ridiculous that I

spell the

Creator's name by doing this: G-d, and then you piped into it and I didn't

even know why,

and you said it was ridiculous too. I don't care who thinks it's ridiculous,

it's the way I

show respect. What I said to you about calling him Hairy was ot illustrate to

you that

if someone did that you would feel disrespected too, like I did.

Does all this make sense to you now? It's very confusing. Check out Chuck's

response to

what was said by Gracia too.

This is why we need to let the subject alone before anymore feelings get

hurt. I think it started because you and were talking about

creationist stuff, that's how and I got involved. Anywho, it doesn

t matter to me who said what, I just think we are both confused on each

other's replies and I'm tired of going back having to re-read everything

making sure of this and that. SO, I will not mention anything else on the

subject for now.
