I think fiber is a natural and gentle none drug laxative. I've had some

irritating digestive tract problems since major surgery that removed

part of my colon about 6 years ago [not constipation; I only really

found out what that was from experience a couple of years ago]. A

heaping teaspoon of fiber in a glass of milk each day solved some of my

problems like throwing a switch. YMMV.
