Guest guest
Roni, I have been to several doctors in the past years but none of them would prescribe the generic to synthroid or armour. Guest guest
I don't like the things that are happening to me, and I am going to try to get the doctor to give me generic Armour again, since I'm pretty sure the insurance company won't approve the real thing. Guest guest
Roni, How much will your insurance cover for generic or Armour? Also, there are programs that can assist you in obtaining prescriptions too. Guest guest
I don't know all the answers yet. I chose this insurance because the one I had went up $21 per month and it was too much. Supposedly this one is well liked, but I'm not doing anything till I see the doctor on Tuesday. Roni and Irwin <familyirwin@...> wrote: Roni, How much will your insurance cover for generic or Armour? Guest guest
well that is why you didn't get approved- because you Have insurance. these programs are for people who Don't have insurance. nancie Re: armour thyroid help I just a raise on my Soc. Sec. and probably will my supplemental income this year I have in not poverty level close to poverty level. Ususally my supplemental goes down every year because my insur. cost goes up. The only meds. I could get thru partners is singulair because either my meds. wasn't on there or there was an only $2 differenc & it would be cheaper just to pay the $2 than to go thru all of what you have to go thru to get it.. I drive 26 miles 2 times to get my singulair so I would have to do the same thing with the other & a $2 drop in price isn't worth it. Guest guest
I don't know where you are, but if you can get to a Walmart, they have a lot of generics for $4.00 for a month's supply. Guest guest
If you end up having to purchase Armour, just to let you know how not expensive it is, my 11+ grains per month would only cost $67 at any CostCo pharmacy. Certainly purchasing less than 330 one grain pills per month should be far less expensive. If I remember correctly, 100 one grain pills was something like $25 at the Wal-Mart pharmacy, but the CostCo pharmacy is generally less expensive than the Wal-Mart one, at least in Bellingham. Just to note, I believe 3, 4, and 5 grain tabs of Armour are still on back order, and may not be available, but 1 and 2 grain tabs are still available and any pharmacy should carry it. The other word on generic Armour (Qualitest by ime Caps labs) has had a number of recalls associated with potency issues. Sam > > ... Guest guest
target also have $4.00 prescriptions. But, I believe cost-co has the lowest- at least in southern calif. nancie Re: Re: armour thyroid help I don't know where you are, but if you can get to a Walmart, they have a lot of generics for $4.00 for a month's supply.
