Generic levothyroxine. If you recall, Nancie and I were discussing the relative effectiveness of sublingual administration. So, I tried delaying my morning coffee until the meds had 30 minutes to dissolve. I had thought this would at least increase absorption, although I thought it would not be 100%, since much of the dissolved material would still end up being swallowed. Much to my surprise, absorption seems to have actually DECREASED. Of course, it could be that my thyroid had been producing a little for the last two years and finally quit completely.
