As I mentioned previously, I don't talk about CRONING or make an issue

of it. I will make larger portions of high nutrition foods, but I

won't push them. They just tend to appear more often.

However, I did join Weight Watchers a few months ago and lost 15 lbs,

and now continue to weigh in weekly at WW to keep on track (I also

find the meetings supportive of the emotional aspects of restricting

calories.)

I thought I would share something which happened last week: My

husband drove me to the meeting with our 2 year old in tow. After I

skipped back from the meeting announcing my weight loss, my DH said to

our son: Mommy is a crone. No, she's not an old lady. She's being

careful about what she eats so she can live a long time cause she

loves you.

Anyway, just thought I'd share an upbeat side of the whole

croning/family issue.
