But if we're eating it for n-3, we can use fish oil caps. Any other reason to eat fish? I have read some unsubstantiated stuff that the fish itself is good for things like prostate cancer but I don't see the link yet. Fish is not particularly void of cholesterol, contains the same aminos probably of land animals so do we know if there's something else? Epid studies don't get it for me because the oceans are increasingly filled with waste products. I visualize eating something that came out of a septic tank. Actually a septic tank without the waste chems might be a safer place to raise fish because my body retained the bad stuff.

If there is some magic to eating fish flesh maybe smaller, farmed fish would be safer.

Regards.

The older larger fish, make better looking steaks, and happen to containmore Hg due to being higher up the food chain with more time to eat thelittle 'uns.I find canned salmon cost effective, good n3 and low Hg.JR
