Guest guest Posted December 14, 2003 Report Share Posted December 14, 2003 I opted to not eat fish when I found out the standard for mercury was initially set just above the value that was in the fish sampled. Now if we can feed fish quickly enough to lower the Hg absorbed to an order of magnitude less than wild fish, it could be a suitable protein source for flesh eaters. I'll take my chances with the plants of the world - although that presents am equaling or maybe more complex problem avoiding pesticides and waste chemicals. Let's not forget radiation.
