Guest guest
Since it doesn't say the grade of steel and it is coming from Walmart, you must assume that it's the cheapest grade of steel, and would probably leach into your food/drink/soup. > > Would this thermos be ok to use? Guest guest
Hey Doug, do you have a reference on what grades of steel leach and which don't, as I would love to read more about it. I have been carrying my food in mason jars, and was thinking about buying a thermos, but want to get a good one. Hi Doug, It's actually Thermos brand. a http://www.walmart. <http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8007170> com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8007170
Guest guest
The Foogo line seems to be targeted towards infants and toddlers, and 10 oz will not hold very much food. The Thermos Nissan would be better, and at least they advertise the grade of steel in it, unlike the Foogo. I wouldn't be concerned if the food is kept warm for a few hours, so it wouldn't be in a thermos long enough to cause problems. Bee
