Guest guest
Hi folks: The following is the text of an off-list post I sent to Francesca. She is open minded about the idea. Would there be any interest in PARTICIPATING (!) in this? I.E. Would a significant number of members be prepared to supply their preferences to such a 'database' if I were able to figure out how to set it up? INPUT PLEASE. " Here is a suggestion: > > I would find it fascinating to peruse data for various individuals in > the CR group indicating their attitude to food products under each of > the following five headings: > > Those foods they: > > 1. Heavily emphasize. > 2. Emphasize. > 3. Are non-committal about. > 4. Avoid when possible. > 5. " The purpose of such a list would be to make available members' food preferences in a single, readily accessible, location at the site, to act as a source of ideas for each other. It might also be a source of discussion if, for example, someone is found to have placed an item in the avoid-like-the-plague category that others have placed in the 'emphasize' category. Thanks for any responses, positive or otherwise! Rodney.
