I never knew how much I would love being a mom, or even know how much I would love. It is so true, when you see your child for the first time, the feelings come over you like a wave. Originally, I was going to go back to work and my husband was going to stay home with our baby, but then once she was born, all bets were off!! I quit my job to be a full time stay at home mommy!! It was not easy back then because you were looked down upon if you didn't " do something with your life. " I do not regret it for one minute. I have two boys or I should say they are men now that turn out to be very wonderful, caring young men. I know you made the right choice. That is such a shame. I know, I feel the same way. I don't judge others for wanting/having to work after the birth of their child, but I know for me, I cried and cried at the thought of leaving her.
