Guest guest
I had always thought that the good doctors suggestion that one prepare a large meal (6 or so servings) once a week and then freeze it has a lot of merit. I did this for a number of years, based on his idea for an early attempt at "ON." It was a great help. if you do this every week, with varying recipes, then gradually one builds up a selection of "on" meals that can be reheated at leisure. In fact once a week cooking of this nature will provide all one's dinners as the program progresses. I used the freezer plates with three compartments (some I used had two) Some experimentation will be needed as not everything freezes well. I found that stir fry did not freeze well as it lost the crispness that i like in "al dente" stir fry. His sweet potato pear recipe in book one worked very well IMHO. Is there anything ready-made that I can purchase? Also the whole thing with making sure I get all the nutrients is overwhelming. I need help making this easy and not time- consuming. Any suggestions?
