I'm no expert on vanilla beans. I've only bought them one time

before 2 years ago from the Fresh Market (similar to Whole Foods) to

make a fruit salad/yogurt recipe for a client's business breakfast.

(My one attempt at catering... too much work for the money!!!)

Anyway, then the beans were skinny and dry, and I had a hard time

even cutting them to get the tiny beans out, like I saw on tv. These

beans are very large and moist, and do smell great compared to the

others. I'll let you know how the flavor is after I fix something

with them. Just to be sure, I'll buy a small amount at another good

store and compare the two, since I really don't know how they are

supposed to taste anyway.
