Guest guest
Hi All, I had all of my amalgalm fillings removed back in 2004 I think. I also had a tooth extracted last year that had a root canal. Now I have some crowns that are all porcelain but also still have 2 crowns that are PFMs - porcelain fused to metal. I was assured that the metal mix underneath does not contain any mercury. However, would it be best to have those two crowns (not root canals) replaced with all porcelain crowns? I would like to be metal free although, I had my upper jaw broken in 1993 and have quite a bit of titanium in it holding it all together. Any thoughts and opinions are appreciated.
