Guest guest
Apricot is correct I believe. Mercola has mislead his readers. In the rodent test trials for Sucralose Safety, Sucralose levels were so enormously high that the rats could not eat their adulterated rat chow. Instead, they starved and died of malnutrition. The thymus biopsy (and other organ biopsies) showed shrinkage due to starvation and malnutrition. This of course is an outrage. :--(( At least the animals did not die of cancer or from any other cause -- except from starvation and malnutrition. The lesson here is: Don't use so much Sucralose on everything you eat -- that your food tastes so bad -- that you eventually starve to death. -- Warren -----Original Message-----From: apricot85 [mailto:apricot85@...]Sent: Sunday, January 04, 2004 2:35 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Sucralose/thalmus I am so irked by Mercola's hellfile & brimstone, along with misreprentation of data. From Mercola's own website, he admits "the manufacturer claimed that the sucralose was unpleasant for the rodents to eat in large doses AND that starvation caused the shruken thymus glands." He combines all those words together, shakes them around, does the hokey pokey & spits out different meanings of other peoples words. I constantly find that Mercola employs this "switcharoo" stategy with data from other reports & studies. I certainly believe that anyone (rodent or otherwise) that is starving will show ill effects in all organs. And it's my strong opinion that anyone fed large doses of processed SUGAR is surely poisoned. Mercola's website has no credibility. Just yesterday I visited a website that was linked to the Mercola site ... but the website provided a DISCLAIMER about Mercola because of they disagreed with Mercola's spin on the issue. (issue: vit D & cod liver oil). kimlynette@... wrote: Yeah that's what Mercola puts out on his site...I don't trust him anymore for a couple of reasons. I have my labs tested regularly due to autoimmune issues and I have never been healthier. If Splenda shrinks the thalmus you probably have to consume mega tons of it.... Bogus science everywhere you look.... And it is worth it to me...since my carb/sugar addictions are far far worse than a tsp or two of Splenda a day.
