I have been taking one tsp twice a day of Garden of Life > CLO. ==>You are taking too little CLO anyway. Even at the normal amount it wouldn't cause problems, and CLO also ensures blood clots do not form, which is more critical. To get enough omega-3 and vitamins A & D you need to take 2 tbls. of Garden of Life daily. > Also, do you know what part of it might make one more susceptible > to bleeding? I also take one shark liver vit A capsule a day (Now > brand, 10,000 IU vit A each). ==>CLO doesn't make you more susceptible to bleeding; it keeps the blood running smoothly with no clots. The Weston A. Price Foundation recommends that pregnant women take it. You do not need extra vitamin A when you take the correct amount of Garden of Life CLO. ==>Please note that I recommended the person double the amount of their CLO to help her body heal after a D & C. I changed that to the regular dose until bleeding from the D & C stops. Please do not be alarmed. The only people who need to be concerned are those who are taking blood thinning medications, otherwise there is no harm taking regular doses of CLO.
