Guest guest
Dear Iodine people, Could you tell me what the difference is between Lugol's and Ioderol? I checked with my local health store and they didn't have either of them. Can you recommend a safe source? Also, is taking Vit. C necessary? How much? Any other supplements that should be taken with iodine/iodide? Thanks, --- Roni Molin <matchermaam@...> wrote: > How long did this take for the veins to disappear? > Roni > > Sam <k9gang@...> wrote: > I don't know, really. Guest guest
> Could you tell me what the difference is between > Lugol's and Ioderol? Lugol's Solution www.jcrows.com is liquid iodine/iodide. Iodoral www.breastcancerchoices.org (click " iodine " ) is the " pill " form of Lugol's Solution. They both contain the same amount of iodine/iodide. > I checked with my local health store and they didn't > have either of them. Can you recommend a safe source? No, they won't carry it. I included the links above. Sometimes you can find a Naturopath that carries Iodoral, tho. > Also, is taking Vit. C necessary? How much? Yes. It helps detox all the nasties out thru the urine rather than thru the skin. 3 grams to 4 grams are necessary for this. > Any other supplements that should > be taken with iodine/iodide? Celtic Sea Salt with water. Please see the " salt protocol " in the iodine section at www.breastcancerchoices.org Please note that it's wise to build up on the amount you take, rather than go while hog all at once into an orthoiodisupplementation amount (50+mg). Generally speaking, it takes a minimum of 25mg (4 horizontal drops Lugol's or 2 pills Iodoral) to begin to detox. However, detoxing goes faster on 50mg, and healing takes less time. Some people freak out when 50mg is suggested to be taken, but this is a pretty good dose to get those little iodine nanobot thingies (I think they are called iodolipids) to start fixing stuff. There are people taking more than 100mg who are doing fine and dandy on that amount. I am just fine on 50mg and others are fine on 25mg... But just PLEASE make sure to at least take the 3-4 grams of vitamin c with it... Oh, and if your adrenals are weak, the really do need to be treated first.
