Guest guest
Hello Dan and CR ALL: Not only was the quote excellent. Dan's response and observations on the quote were even better. Wow, I think this is a great quote. I find it to be very true for me. While I don't eat the same meals every day, I do have a set of meals that I choose among, and certain staple items that remain pretty much the same every day. It seems that when I go out to restaurants, all hell breaks lose in a sense, because I now have to really think about what I eat and how much of it I'm going to eat. I wonder if those who struggle more with CR fail to in some way " patternize " their meals. This certainly doesn't have to mean preparing the same exact meal every time you eat (a la Dean) -- it can be a whole lot more variable than that -- but maybe there needs to at least be a meaningful set of constants you simply don't have to think about. -Dan
