Guest guest
Either larger or smaller? I was recently at an Urgent Care facility as I have been very sick for the last 5 weeks. Cold to cough to bronchitis to....love this immune system let down. Anyway, during the doctors eval of my chest xray, he noticed that my heart is very small. Now I can tell you I have been told that my heart was oversized 9 years ago during the pregnancy of my second born. The doctor hadn't looked at me yet, otherwise he wouldn't have asked this very silly question of the 200+ lb 5' 9 " lady sitting in front of him. He asked me if I was a runner since my heart was so small. I laughed, ha, has he looked at me yet, nope. He said that runner often have small hearts. He then looked at me and crumpled his eyes. LOL My heart rate has fallen from a steady 110 bpm since I was 15 yrs old to 80 bpm after the birth of my last child 4 yrs ago and now to 60 bpm at 31 yrs old. It would make sense to me that a heart would be small with more heartbeats per minute and not the other way around not as I have presented. Any one else have this strangeness occur or the contrary? Any clue if it is significant? Thanks guys! Cherish
