Guest guest
He has never had any pop. The only processed foods he has had was things like gluten free pizza mix to take to parties so he could have pizza like the other kids. We used gluten free waffles and crackers when I needed to provide him with snacks at preschool. Other than that never any junk food. We did use sugar in homemade cookies and the like. But I never bought store bought cookies or cereal or anything. I am a Weston Pricer from way back so we never used processed oils. He has been 100% on the diet since New Years and other than the twitching and jerking is doing really well on it. I did break a tooth with a large amalgam in it while I was pregnant with him. He is 5 1/2 and about 48lbs. I gave him one tsp of the chlorophyll this morning to see if that would help. Haven't noticed anything yet. I am not worried about the copper because he is taking vitamin C and his serum copper tests were the lower end of normal. I have been giving him coconut oil at 1/8 tsp once in the morning and once at night. Irene At 10:08 AM 2/19/2008, you wrote: > > > > > My son has started that twitching and jerking again. Guest guest
Hi Bee, He hasn't been diagnosed with any neurological problems in the past. No he isn't getting any sugar. When I was talking about the cookies I was talking about his diet pre candida diet. He is fully on the candida diet. now The only thing questionable now is the nitrate free salame. We don't have any hidden sources of msg as far as I know. I have always been very careful about that. I have been doing WAPF for many years. I give him 1/4 tsp celtic salt twice a day and all the supplements on your list except the ones that you said that you don't give children. He has been getting cod liver oil and butter on and off since he was a baby. He gets them almost every day now. These problems didn't start until he was on the diet so I am wondering if it is some kind of detox or something. I will look at your artcles. Thanks, Irene At 04:00 AM 2/20/2008, you wrote: > > > > > He has never had any pop. Guest guest
Oh yes, and we never use artificial sweetener either. Like I said, we have been on an WAP for many years. Because of my sensitivies, I have always cooked. I did make some compromises last year with the gluten free crackers and waffles when my son was in preschool but we are homeschooling now so I don't have to pack lunches and snacks this year. I have just started adding the chlorophyll for him. Like I said, this didn't start until he was close to being fully on the diet. Thanks, Irene At 07:30 AM 2/20/2008, you wrote: >Hi Bee, > >He hasn't been diagnosed with any neurological problems in the past. > >No he isn't getting any sugar. Guest guest
I am sorry about your son. I have to say, that my son's twitching reminds me of tourette's although I don't really know much about it. I am thinking he might be detoxing heavy metals. It seems to come and go and I haven't tracked it but I think it is worse when he isn't eating enough fat. He LOVED bacon for a while and that was his major source of fat. He stopped eating it a while ago. So if I can find another fat he will eat and tolerate maybe it will go away. Guest guest
Yeah, but he won't eat butter or anything with butter in it and if I give him Coconut oil he can't breathe. I am working up with the coconut oil VERY slowly. We are up to 1/4 tsp per day, 1/8 AM and 1/8 PM. Irene At 09:31 AM 2/21/2008, you wrote: > > > > > I am sorry about your son.
