Guest guest
Um, Joy? You don't have a thyroid gland. So now it's your job to do for yourself what your thyroid was supposed to do. That's what I have to do for me because I don't have a thyroid gland either. I'm not hypO anymore, and I'm healthy. Thyroidless people usually do quite well on desiccated thyroid (I take Armour), " dosed by symptoms " , treat weak adrenals (cortisol and aldosterone). If they are on synthetic thyroid drugs, they do not usually do well. If you go back over to the thyroidless group's website at thyroidless and go to the photos section, you will see a foto of me on synthroid and then me on Armour...the title of the foto is " Synthroid vs Armour " . Keep looking at that foto because that is a foto of someone who gave her body back the thyroid hormones it no longer had, rather than keep taking garbage thyroid drugs.
