Guest guest
I need help from experienced people. I have always had low thyroid but in the normal range. Finally after 10-15 years i have fallen out of the normal range. My chirop has tried me on several different items and I have racing heart with each. They all contain iodine. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what other options there are for me. I don't really want to do they synthroid. Thanks in advance for your help. Guest guest
Debbie, What exactly were you taking? I was on synthroid for over 20yrs and it did nothing for me. I went on Armour thyroid April of last year. I see an incredible difference. We are all different but this is what works for me. Although even now, I probably need some adjustments to my meds, I would not go back to synthroid. Guest guest
Yes, T3 really does a number on me. Palpitations become very severe and so intense, it's what I imagine a heart attack to be like!!!!! Armour has T3. Synthroid works really well for me - there's no reason to fear it. Guest guest
If the iodine patch you referenced below it the iodine skin absorption test then it is completely bogus. Anyone who prescribes it it hopelessly ignorant or a charlatan. > > Re: Recently diagnosed with hypo > <hypothyroidism/message/38536;_ylc=X3oDMTJxNW4wbzE\ 4BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzE0NTY2NARncnBzcElkAzE3MDkyNTEwODIEbXNnSWQDMzg1MzYEc2V\ jA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTIxMTQ1MzQwNw--> > > > > Posted by: " Debbie Leafblad " debbieleafblad@... > <mailto:debbieleafblad@...?Subject=%20Re%3A%20Recently%20diagnosed%20with%\ 20hypo> > debbieleafblad <debbieleafblad> > > > Wed May 21, 2008 8:15 pm (PDT) > > The Dr perscribed synthroid but I did not fill the rx.
