I've also been spending lots of time in an infrared sauna. I've really been sweating it out, so I thought that I might have depleted myself of iodine. I had some kelp. Afterwards my energy level crashed, hitting bottom 2 days later. It seems to be coming back now, but I am wondering, how could one influence the elimination rate of iodine?
