Maggie:

Why don't you keep track of these infections on your calendar. If you are on

such a strict diet and they return, it might be Hormonal.

If you keep track, you might see a pattern.

Vaginal yeast

Hi I am new to the group. I am getting a yeast infection every month

and getting very frustrated. I started to follow a very strict diet

(no sugars, carbs, vinegar Etc) as suggested in " The Yeast Syndrome "

book I was hoping that the vaginal discharge would not come back after

a month in this diet but it did. Any suggestions?

Maggie,

I too have the same problem and have been on the diet for 6 weeks -

I did have a worse flare up last month much worse than it was before

the diet (it is usually the week after my period but the timing was

different this time, it was just before) followed by a really

horrible smell, again much worse than previously. However, this

month it is much better. I believe it was die-off reaction from my

body clearing toxicity making things worse before they get better.

Stick with the diet, it takes time to see an improvement but it is

worth it - it will prevent me any more embarrassments, like when my

daughter complained loudly " Mummy you smell of fish down there "

loudly at the ice arena!

Chilli or Paprika seems to aggravate with me too, so I find keeping

a diet diary invaluable in finding and eliminating things that are

allowed on the diet but upset me personally.

Good luck and let me know how you are getting on!

Is it possible for garlic to make vaginal yeast infections worst? Does the

symptom increase before it decreases? There seems to be alot more yeast before I

inserted garlic. I used garlic instead of douching with garlic tea

Please help.

I know that the diet will take care of everything in the long run but this is

getting overbearing and interfering with my sexual life.
