Over 400 Neurological Disease In Need of A. Cure....Write/Email Your Representatives

You Can Send Your Message To Your Representatives and the Media In Your State...GO to.... Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research-Home .. Click on "Contact Media" or "Contact Media"

I sent the following email to my representatives, the White House and 260 media outlets in 4 states. If you think it is important to contact these people, please take the time to do it. It will help.

White House press secretary McClellan said Friday "the president is

strongly committed to the exploration of space".  He is in favor of a

permanent science base on the moon.  For his election in 2004, it appears

that President Bush favors  more glamorous, sensational announcements than

projects like basic medical research for developing cures for millions of

chronically ill people. For example, President Bush seems to pay little

attention to the fact that there are over 400 neurological diseases in

need of a cure.

On the other hand, US Senator Joe Lieberman promises to repeal the current

restrictive Bush stem cell research prohibitions if he is elected.

Bush's anti-research policies are widely acknowledged to have set back

progress in regenerative medicine by five years - five more years of death

and suffering for millions of people with chronic diseases while potential

cures are blocked by government fiat.
