Guest guest
Hi, Ira. The discussion of allopathic medication for hypothyroidism is a major part of our " product " ; sometimes it is cussed and sometimes praised. With hypothyroidism even those who would prefer totally " natural " or " alternative " treatments often have to combine aspects of both schools of thought in their treatment because there are no supplements that will provide a " cure " or even relief if you do not have a working thyroid gland. IMHO if you were to refuse inclusion of allopathic treatment for hypothyroidism then you would probably lose a lot of members; and those left would be ill served because frankly some/many of the " alternative " treatments may be ineffective or harmful. BTW, those of you who have received a " page not found " [or similar] error need to delete the period at the end of the URL. It should be: http://www.medhelp.org/land/thyroid-hormones-tracker <http://www.medhelp.org/land/thyroid-hormones-tracker.> That being said I don't know anything about medhelp.org, or how helpful it would be to us. I do notice that the person who contacted you is " VP of Sales & Marketing Operations " ; but I don't know if his job is to try to sell us something or not. That would be something that IMHO we DO NOT need [whether it is an allopathic or alternative product]. Guest guest
Thanks , I did run into that problem. Ira, I have to agree with to some extent. I do not know enough about this company to agree or disagree. Venizia > > Hi, Ira. Guest guest
In my reply I provided a corrected link for the bad URL by copying the original and correcting it; and the result you see is the one on top below. For some reason my browser [i guess] thinks the original should also be included and adds it back in. So the top one is correct and the bottom one is the incorrect original that got back into my post only God knows how. Sorry... .. .. > > www.medhelp.org wants to post to our message board > <hypothyroidism/message/39266;_ylc=X3oDMTJxZW5tNmI\ 5BF9TAzk3MzU5NzE1BGdycElkAzE0NTY2NARncnBzcElkAzE3MDkyNTEwODIEbXNnSWQDMzkyNjYEc2V\ jA2Rtc2cEc2xrA3Ztc2cEc3RpbWUDMTIxMzYxNDkyMg--> > > > > Posted by: " " res075oh@... > <mailto:res075oh@...?Subject=%20Re%3Awww%2Emedhelp%2Eorg%20wants%20to%20\ post%20to%20our%20message%20%20board> > jamesl33511 <jamesl33511> > > > Sun Jun 15, 2008 1:28 pm (PDT) > > [,,,] > > BTW, those of you who have received a " page not found " [or similar] > error need to delete the period at the end of the URL.
