Guest guest
Hi Dolores! Welcome to the group. You will learn quite a lot from this group. I agree with Gracia. You are definitely not on enough thyroid meds. You did not say how much you were taking. I would suggest you get a FT3 and FT4 test done but it is obvious you need way more levothyroxin than you are getting. How often do you get tested? I would see if your doctor will test you this week and if you do not get the right response from him or her then I would definitely find a new doctor. We here have found the endo's are not the ones to see but you will have to decide that for yourself. I was on Synthroid for over 20 yrs and it did nothing for me. I was feeling bad all the time. I finally went on Armour thyroid and feel much better on it than I ever did on synthroid. That is also something you will have to decide on for yourself. After reading the post here and reading what is on the website stopthethyroidmadness.com you will be able to make a better decision for yourself. Good luck to you and keep us posted. > > > hi dolores. you need to find a bettter doc who will give you more meds. your TSH is too high and I'm afraid your doc doesn't know what he is doing. > Gracia > > i'm dolores. been hypothyroid for three years. i take synthroid. i > took levothyroxin but had a severe allergy to the filler in the > tablet. i'm very cold all the time, very tired and have very dry > skin. have my blood level run every three months the last was:TSH 8.79 > i take my synthroid first thing in the morning and don't eat or drink > anything until an hour later. > are there foods that we should avoid? i hope to learn a lot here from > your experiences. > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > > No virus found in this incoming message. > Checked by AVG. > Version: 7.5.524 / Virus Database: 269.24.4/1476 - Release Date: 5/31/2008 12:25 PM > > >
Guest guest
- I was in the VST chat room and someone came in and was asking about getting the band from Dr. Aceves. I asked her if she went to the LBT complications section and life after band section and told her she needed to do a lot more reading before deciding on a band. I hate to be a band basher when they are all so happy about " getting their date " It's hard to tell them they will be regretting their decision. -- In , SuzanneSH <SuzanneSH@...> wrote: > > Hi , > > Your post came through this time. So you must have done something right. Keep posting and help some of these people out. You have had the band and now the sleeve. You are the perfect person to tell them why you changed over to the sleeve. > > Hugs, > Suzanne > > > > In a message dated 08/03/09 08:43:44 Pacific Daylight Time, denisef822@... writes: > I was sleeved at the end of April.
