Guest guest
Hi All, As much as I want to believe that my pain (headache, upper backache, lower backache, and calf pain) is related to die-off, it just seems so odd. This email is going to be long so I apologize ahead of time, but this is so confusing. Some days, like today, I wake up with pain in those 4 areas, it almost completely goes away for several hours, and then starts back up again. Also, yesterday I felt very confident about my job and my capabilities, today around 5 PM just after leaving work I started having horrible anxiety about my abilities and knowledge. Does die-off really occur for a few hours a day? Here is what has been happening. Last Wednesday: Horrible pain, took 4 Aleve throughout day and did not help pain. Swollen eye lids when getting up - took all day to go away. Was eating olive oil and palm oil that day. Took B-50, Chlorofresh, Cod Liver Oil, Cal-Mag, and Mag Citrate. Also started working at new company that day. Last Thursday: Woke up with only slight headache and upper backache but not really any lower backache or calf pain. Swollen eye lids when getting up but not as bad as day before. Pain went away late morning. Took sodium ascorbate, vitamin E, niacin, Chlorophyll, B-50, Cod Liver oil, Cal-Mag, and Mag Citrate. Drank 4 cups of Pau D'Arco tea. Last Friday: Woke up with bad pain in all 4 areas. Swollen eye lids when getting up but not as bad as Wednesday. Took sodium ascorbate, Chlorophyll, B-50, and Niacin and Cal-Mag, and Mag Citrate.. Drank 2 cups of Pau D'Arco tea - one first thing AM. Last Saturday: Woke up with very slight pain in all 4 areas but not bad at all. Very slightly swollen eye lids when getting up - barely noticeable. Took Niacin, B-50, and Chlorophyll and Cal-Mag, and Mag Citrate.. Drank 2 cups of Pau D'Arco - one first thing AM. Took H2O2 bath. Pain, although mild, lasted all day. Last Sunday: Woke up with very slight pain in all 4 areas but not bad at all. Did NOT have Pau D'Arco and after being up a while all pain except slight headache went away. Took Chlorophyll mid-day instead of AM, also took B-50, cod liver oil, sodium ascorbate, and Cal-Mag, and Mag Citrate. Monday: Slight pain in all 4 areas and swollen eye lids. Pain got much worse throughout day - had Oolong tea? Took 3 Aspirin around 12:30 PM but didn't really help. Pain somewhat better around 9 PM. Took: 1 B-50 with 5 Niacin 1 B-50 with lunch 1 B-50 with dinner 1 tsp Ascorbic Acid - no baking soda Cod liver oil Chlorophyll Tuesday: Pain in all 4 areas and swollen eye lids. Pain all throughout day but not as bad as yesterday. Took B-50, cod liver oil, cal-mag, and mag citrate. No Chlorophyll, niacin, or ascorbic acid. Today: Woke up with pain in all 4 areas but not very bad and swollen eye lids. Took B-50 and 500 g Niacin after getting up and also Chlorophyll. By 7:30 ish had just very slight headache. Around 9:30 AM pain in back and calves was slowly coming back. By noon, after eating lunch, pain in all 4 areas was so bad I took 2 Aleve. After about an hour pain was almost gone. Have not had cod liver oil today or ascorbic acid. Thanks, a

Thanks Joe, I am not sure if Oolong tea is safe. I am trying to wean myself off caffeine from coffee and switched to Oolong in December. I was drinking it fine without a problem but I am just looking for anything that could be causing this pain because it's so sporadic. Maybe it is die-off that comes and goes within one day, who knows. As for the Pau D'Arco - the pain started back up after I started drinking it and then stopped the morning I didn't drink it but came back that night. Very confusing. I am so frustrated that today I am drinking swiss water decaf, took my Armour Thyroid (forgot to mention that I take this also), and will drink water all day. I have a hard time water fasting but at this point I am desperate. The pain is barely, barely noticeable this morning and I don't know if pain relief from Aleve lasts that long - I took them around noon yesterday. Thank you for your input. a
Guest guest
a, you can be assured that all of your symptoms are die- off/healing symptoms, and yes they can occur for only a few hours a day. Like I have recommended to you, please do the 9-day program, along with taking all of the supplements recommended, and stop taking any antifungals in the meantime, particularly Pau D'Arco. Also you should not have the Oolong tea and see if that makes a difference too. In other words, don't have anything that isn't on the program, and just stick to the basic diet and supplements. You may need to be on them for up to 6 months before starting on antifungals again.
