Guest guest
Here it is.....Most of you remember when I was taking ldn I had experienced headaches. Well, 6 weeks into the medication, I stopped. I thought that I was going to find the answer to the headaches and start again. Well, I was told that I had TMJ and got the apparatus to wear at night to relieve my problem. After this I desperately want to start the ldn again. So, I wrote to Dr. Lawrence and I told him that when I started taking the ldn in September, I was on Rebif and taking ldn. He said, that it is a complete waste of time taking LDN if you continue to take Rebif, or any other immune suppressants. The two treatments are simply working in opposition. It is a little like adding ice to a heated kettle that you are trying to boil. It will get you no-where! If you intend making a serious attempt to adopt this treatment (the LDN) you must stop all the immune suppressant drugs first. I am not surprised that you suffered headaches and depression with this combined therapy. Your body must have been in such a state of conflict I imagine almost anything could have happened. It is sure that you were getting no benefit from either therapy! So.. he recommended to be off the immune suppressant drugs for at least 2 (two) weeks. He does recommend nutrients and the MS Bet Diet. Well, Guy I stopped the Rebif on Sunday, as I am emailing this I am ordering the vitamins and minerals he suggest. I recommended LDN to so many of my friends who have MS, Cancer, MD, CFS. One of my friend's who has MS had a closed fist, walking difficulty and voice projections. Her fist opened and she is holding a can of pop. Her left foot is moving alone with her right. This has not happened in years. She has noticed that she can project her voice now. So many of us are using ldn through trial and error. We learn from the veterans on line. They share their experiences and help us through our problems. The pharmacist told me that I should not be experiencing headaches. I wanted some direction and Dr. Lawrence was kind enough to help me with my problem. He has the experience with this medication because he uses it himself and prescribes it for his patients. On January 11 or 12 I will try again and hope that I will be successful. So....believe that the AB & R will not mix with LDN. I am going to follow everything to the "T" because I fell that LDN is a solution to the problem "MS."
