Guest guest
Here in Maine it was -20ºF when I got up this morning. Just a mite chilly. This level of cold bothers everyone! ----- Original Message ----- From: LarryGC low dose naltrexone@... Never figured out how to stop it, or get rid of it. This winter, even taking LDN, hasn't changed that SX one bit. Still tenses up and hurts until I warm up a bit. Makes for painful driving until the heater starts working. I spent most of July camping in 80-100 F temps during the day. I have much more problems with cool than hot. Guest guest
Do you cover your head, neck, and most of your face? I have to cover up thoroughly when it is just a little cool or I have problems. Can't allow any air/wind to flow/blow across the top of my head at any time. Needless to say, I wear a hat at all times when outdoors and keep all drafts off my head when indoors. Guest guest
Am I the "strange one?"...A little bit of warmth about the face/head/neck and I'm "down for the count" until I get out in the cool/cold air. When my wife & I travel almost anywhere (anymore), I make sure she has a warm blanket for her and we turn the heater(floor only) on, and I have the window about 1/2 way down so I can get the air on my face. The body can be nice and warm but really need the cool/ cold air on the face/head/ & neck. Makes me groggy/sleepy and irritable in just a minute or two.??? It's around the mid 40s (Fahrenheit) here in the central San Joaquin Valley, Ca. Where are you at Reg?? Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: Noland R. Guest guest
Hi Jim, I do much better in the cold, as long as it's not bitter cold. I'm like you...down for the count with the heat. Guest guest
I find when it is cold out and I start to shiver that I will continue shivering for about an hour after being in the warm house. I thought it was me who was crazy. My husband would get me some hot coffee to warm me up but I would be shivering so much that I kept spilling it on myself. I don't mind the hot so much. I go camping in the summer too. I too am Canadian Just south of Detroit Michigan in Windsor Ont. ----- Original Message ----- From: LarryGC low dose naltrexone Sent: Monday, January 26, 2004 5:00 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Last winter, 2002-2003, when I would go outside into the cold, no matter how much I was wearing, my neck and head would cramp up and hurt. Guest guest
I am so very surprised we were 68 here in Maine. Unheard of. I am still suspicious of what is to come since Oliver started his winter coat at the end of August. I just took the dogs out and it is still warm. I am going to take advantage and do some decorating tomorrow. I stayed in bed until one. Then when I got back from the barn at five thirty I got my husband dinner so he could get out of the house for his sleep study. By six I was asleep on the couch. I got up at ten. Is it not amazing how we do not realize how much stress takes out of us? Cyn, cuddle up and stay warm. I agree with you. I am so looking foward to our move to Savannah. So is Nell. Hold on spring will be here before we know it. Really it will. hugs, Sue From: Cyn Boyd <cynboyd_60@...>Subject: Danceundisclosed-recipients@...Date: Friday, December 4, 2009, 2:10 AM Don't take life so seriously!DANCEKISS A LOT!
