Guest guest
Hi Chuck, Just wanted to tell you how happy and relieved I am that you and your family have good news. I believe in addition to the medical community, family is so important in helping our loved one pull through the tough times. We, in this group, myself included, talk against mainstream medical care but they can do extraordinary things and we should be grateful. I continue to pray for your son and your family. Guest guest
, I'll try to live up to your expectations. > If we have antibodies for Hashimoto's thyroiditis(I don't know if that's > what you have or not), doesn't that mean that we can't have a cure > unless we can stop that process from happening? No. The antibodies are just a (temporary) mechanism for destroying the thyroid gland. It is the loss of that gland's function that creates the disease and its symptoms. So, the only treatment we have, antibodies or not, is to replace the lost hormone supply. Usually, when the gland is destroyed, the antibodies go away on their own. I never had them, BTW. >... I have the following symptoms even though I'm on the correct dosage > per my doctor of T3 and T4.... How do you and your doctor know that what you are taking is the " correct " dosage? That list of symptoms is strong evidence that you are not getting enough of something. What doses are you taking, and what were your latest blood tests (with reference ranges)?
