If I supplement with the correct cal/mag ratio, will the cramps reduce by the time my next cycle comes around? ==>Menstrual cramps aren't just affected by cal/mag, but it is important to take the amounts recommended, which is 300 mgs each of calcium & magnesium citrate two times per day. If either needs to be increased it will probably be the magnesium which helps the muscles relax, but you don't want to take too much of it either. Epsom salt baths also contain magnesium so they are great for cramps. For cramps I recommend you take extra bioflavonoids; there is usually 500 mg in each vitamin C tablet I recommend, and you would be getting 1,000 mg per day already. Also buy a separate bioflavonoid supplements and take 500-1,000 mg per day starting 5 days before your menses, and continuing through your menses, then stop until the next time. For pain take White Willow Bark capsules according to the product label. Bee
Guest guest
Hi , I know I must sound like a broken record at this point to anyone who has read some of my other post, but for me, when I had cramps, they seemed at least partly due to my messed up endocrine system (adrenal issues mainly). Have you read Bee's files about thyroid and adrenal issues? Jecca --- Crichlow <renee_crichlow@...> wrote: > > On Tuesday, I had really bad menstrual cramps that I had to go home > from work. Guest guest
No I just read the Menstrual Cramps info. They aren't as bad when I was younger. I had immense pain, vomitting and diarrhea at the same time. I was put on the birth control pill to regulate them. that worked so eventually I camm off the pill. Years later I have the pain but not the other symptoms. ----- ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Never miss a thing.
