Hi there! I just wanted to thank you for talking about

your experience with Fibro and LDN I had been hoping to see some feedback with

someone who had fibro taking it as I had read it helped that condition as well.

And because my grandmother in law was dxed with fibro about 3 years ago now and

has had an awful time of it. From the beginning I sent her information on diet

and anything I could find. Then Isaw this could work with Fibro too. I wanted

personal experiences so I can show her it does work for people with it for sure

;o) Thank you so much for posting this!

low dose naltrexone

Subject: [low dose naltrexone] RE:

Other People

I am taking 3.5 mg of LDN for

the pst 8 months for fibromyalgia.

It has given me improvement in morning pain and

stiffness and a

little more energy. In fact, I almost could not

walk across the floor

in the mornings due to pain and stiffness. I

was on Ultram,

Neurontin, Norflex, and Baclofen through out the

day. I also took

Effexor XR and Restoril.

I do not need Ultram or Neurontin or

anti-depressants anymore.

I still take Baclofen or Norflex occasionally

because of muscle

spasms due to other back problems. I still

take the Restoril for the

deep sleep.

My " total body pain " has diminished, but

I still get some spasms in

my neck and shoulders, because of the

cervical-spinal and disc

problems. In general, my lifestyle has

improved and I am not coping

with generalized unbearable pain anymore. I

had to adjust my LDN

from 4.5 mg to 3 mg and then to 3.5 mg which I am

on now. I tired

going without the LDN for several nights and all

of the old pain and

misery was back on the third morning. My

filler is methocellulose,

not lactose. I had a complete thyroidectomy and am

fairly stable on

my present thyroid meds. I have not had a

cold or the flu or any

additional illness since starting LDN.

I would not care to be without LDN ever

again. It has helped me more

than any pain pills I have tried. I think it has

prevented me from

needing stronger and more powerful pain drugs.
