Guest guest
Hi Vijay, I know and I too am getting into the Best Bet Diet. I suggest you read the information provided by Dr. Ashton Embry the developer of the diet. He developed it after his son was diagnosed with MS. I brought the information into my neuro and my neuro said he had met with Dr. Embry and honestly if he had MS he would follow this diet as well. Read the information yourself ;o) So that you can form your own opinions… after all that’s how we formed ours. I believe is already strictly cohering to the diet while I am still cutting things out slowly in order to have less risk of failure with it. Best Bet Diet links: http://www.direct-ms.org/bestbet.html http://www2.kemc.co.uk/clients/msrc/downloads/MSbooklet.pdf http://www.msrc.co.uk/indexcfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=1087 & CFID=1428285 & CFTOKEN=45920879 http://www.awsc07100.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/BestBetDietBook/BBDBindex.htm I printed out the booklet for myself and family members. The information seems to make sense and the ideas as to why attacks occur when eating certain things seems reasonable… Do I know if this is for sure… nope there’s only one diet study I have ever found. There is university in Canada willing to do the study Dr. Embry has it all set up and ready for when funding comes through. Anyhow happy reading! I am considering a change in my diet (i am a vegetarian). I have been reading about LDN, but not sure yet. Just for the record, I too, am on copaxone and also on zocor as a combination therapy. I try to stay cool with cold drinks, etc. and also use forskolin - a potassium channel blocker to improve conduction. Thanks, Vijay
