Guest guest
Hi all, I wake up feeling pretty good on 3.5 mg of LDN, the best I have felt in years with the invisible disease of fibromyalgia. About 3 or 4 pm I get tired and the energy disappears. I have found that if I take a walk or do some kind of gentle exercise it picks me up again until bedtime. I beleive that we need to boost our own endorphins by getting a little more active, especially later in the day. Can we really expect LDN to do it all? I know it is harder for some MS'ers to get active but I think some of our pain is similar. People with fibromyalgia have muscle weakness. Extreme exercises will cause muscle fatigue and spasms. (I think it is due to a build up of lactic acid that our cells do not disipate as normal people do.) Some days it is just impossible to even take a walk and most of us that don't have MS are not fighting the " body battle " in the same way. I cannot imagine what MS is like for most of you. But we are all going through some kind of health problems and we are hoping that LDN will get us through each day feeling a bit better. I must tell you that this has been the best 8 months I have had in years. And yet, I still have that afternoon crash. But as I recall, I had it in high school years ago. I have found that I am usually very hungry about that time and a high protein, low carbohydrate snack helps with the letdown. I don't have hypoglycemia but I think we all have a sugar drop in the afternoon which might contribute to that loss of energy and fatigue. I hope I have not offended anyone, this is not my intention. Does anyone else have any good ideas on how to avoid the afternoon crash? mymisspriss
