Dear Larry: I too am a lawyer. I just gave up a 17 year solo practice

several weeks ago and took my diplomas off the wall. My friends

[competitors] took over my practice for me since last August when I was

bitten, and they refused to take any compensation for their efforts.

They just wanted me to get better. Since I can see no end in sight, I

pulled the plug on myself because it's just not fair to these wonderful

people. I will never forget their kindness and selflessness in my time

of need.

Dear Lovette,

I have one client left. My partner forced me out of our partnership and

we are litigating the break up now. I must admit that I wanted out of the

practice of law before I came down with Lyme and I am now trying to limp

through the development of a subdivision here in Vegas.

Life certainly turned out to be a bitch.

Hang in there, science is making great leaps and bounds and I am sure it

will do nothing but improve very rapidly.

Hi , what is the product you are using to kill the bacteria?

Cheers H

Sorry just had to ask - we are using collidial silver at the moment - not

sure if working or not - how fast should something work on something like

bacteria?

, I guess I can tell you, because I didn't have to work to

pull this one from the depths of medline, I read about it in

a health food magazine, it is mastic gum, I got Emerson's product called

Mastica. Emersons gives me a discount, that is why I buy from them, it

is made by Allergy Research Group, and they do carry good products. It

kills bacteria that can survive in the stomach, or at least that

is what I found in medline, and I think that is where his

infection started. It was still a long shot, but it certainly is

helping him. I could tell the first day that I gave it to him,

Don and I tried it out, and he always has a lot of ingestion, and he

says that he is much better. It is pretty expensive! I think about

thirty five dollars! Sorry!

Best, Carlton

, sure, and ask about the 20% discount when you mention

Dr.Kane's name, they might ask you for your doctor's name,

just give it to them, even if he is not customer, they might

not check, it doesn't hurt to try. 20% usually saves me all

the shipping cost. Just enter mastica or mastic in the

search block. They have the sodium bicarbonate carbonate

too, and that isn't expensive about seven dollars. While

you are there compare prices, I have found that they are

pretty competitive. http://www.emersonecologics.com/

They even have liquid cod-liver oil from Nordic Naturals,

and it was cheaper to buy it from them than the company,

and it was cheaper than Kirkmans, too!

Best,

FW: lawyers

A very successful lawyer parked his brand-new Lexus in front of his office, ready to show it off to his colleagues. As he got out, a truck passed too close and completely tore off the door on the driver's side. The lawyer immediately grabbed his cell phone, dialed 911, and within minutes a policeman pulled up. Before the officer had a chance to ask any questions, the lawyer started screaming hysterically. His Lexus, which he had just picked up the day before, was now completely ruined and would never be the same, no matter what the body shop did to it. When the lawyer finally wound down from his ranting and raving, the officer shook his head in disgust and disbelief... "I can't believe how materialistic you lawyers are," he said. "You are so focused on your possessions that you don't notice anything else." "How can you say such a thing?" asked the lawyer. The cop replied, "Don't you know that your left arm is missing from the elbow down? It must have been torn off when the truck hit you." "Oh my God!" screamed the lawyer. "Where's my Rolex?"

This comes as no surprise to me as we had to retain a lawyer to draw up a "no fault of your own"contract just to keep my brother on ldn. It was fairly inexpensive yet worth it. Reg.

The list often puts out names of class action attorneys for members to contact.

For the record, as a class action litigator, I want you to know that class

actions generally benefit counsel, not clients. The rewards are typically in the

millions of dollars for the lawyer, while the client gets coupons, or pennies.

The list should not really be in the business of circulating generic internet

information about lawyers.

I was considering using him for our special

needs trust. Can you tell me more about your experience?? Not in

the interest of bad-mouthing him, but in the interest of avoiding the same

concerns.

Dianne, could you share why you do not recommend Rubin? He sounded good when I read his info on the Internet. I hired Rubin back in December to do a special needs trust and to complete my will. I do not have the documents as of yet but when I met with him and interviewed him I was very impressed with his knowledge and what he was offering. He was also willing to work on my fee with me. He is allowing me to make installement payments. So far I think he is wonderful.

I just want to say that we were very satisfied with Rubin. He did all he promised for us and the fee was not exorbitant. Fran

I am divorced and I have a son with autism that was 17 in January. My ex-husband will be having his own lawyer to help him gain guardianships. I have a feeling this is going to get ugly. I am looking for a good lawyer that will fight for what is best for my son. I live in the north suburbans. I am also new to the group and this is my first time writing. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I can call. I understand that it is my responsibility to interview a lawyer and make a decision. Maureen,I'm divorced too and have been through this. Don't want to bother everyone with my long nasty story, but think it would be helpful to you if you e-mailed me privately so we can discuss. If you don't handle this properly, it will drain you as well as your bank account.Dianne

We didn't use a lawyer for guardianship, I did all the leg work and

my husband only had to show up, so I have no referral info! Of

course, we are not divorced. Why do you think it's bad for your ex

to have guardianship? I would start by making a list on why you

think this it's bad. Good luck.
