Guest guest
My son has started that twitching and jerking again. I had increased his magnesium to about 500mg/day with 300mg calcium and it seemed to get better. I also was giving him epsom salts baths. Now it is starting again. I am wondering if it is now too much magnesium. This is worrisome. Thanks, Irene

Remember that toxins also cause twitching and jerking; has he had sugars, pop or processed foods ? Bee

It appears as if he has a neurological problem, and minerals are most important. Also neurotoxins will affect him more than others, i.e. MSG, carrageenan, artificial sweeteners, and many others: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu3_9_1.php Also see the many names of MSG: http://www.msgmyth.com/ http://www.truthinlabeling.org/index.html Also other toxins will affect him a great deal, see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_4.php First, it would be important to eliminate any sugar of any kind, including homemade cookies. Sugar is poison - see the last 2 articles here: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu3_9_4.php Ocean sea salt is one of the best sources of minerals, and he also needs the sodium+chloride = salt which are 2 of the 7 macrominerals required by the body. He should be taking calcium and magnesium citrate; at 5 years old he can take 1/3rd of the adult dose. Ensure his water is mineralized too. He should also be taking cod liver oil, B complex, and for children I highly recommend butter oil available, available from these websites: http://www.greenpasture.org/ http://www.drrons.com/x-factor-butter-oil.htm http://www.radiantlifecatalog.com/prod.cfm/ct/1/pid/1050 For children's doses of butter oil see this article: http://www.radiantlifecatalog.com/prod.cfm/ct/1/pid/1050 Irene, remember that you cannot expect immediate results when you give him something, i.e. liquid chloropyll, and that minerals require enough " good " fats, oil soluble vitamins A, D, & E, and omega-3 in order for them to be absorbed and utilized. I hope that helps. Bee
