Guest guest
Someone here said this isn't the case, but I was told by doctors that the reason I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis is because when I was struggling with being on the heavy side growing up, my doctor gave me thyroid hormone when I did not have a thyroid problem. This, they say is why I have thyroid disease. Now I'm not sure if they believe this happened because the imbalance caused by thyroid to go out of whack or I'm wondering if maybe because the thyroid I used to take was actual thyroid...that I got some of the antibodies in me from the medication. Maybe that's far fetched but isn't that how some people get autoimmune type diseases? No one else in my family has thyroid disease... **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers.
