Guest guest
Hi Kiki and All, It may be the result of the stress and sadness that I have been through lately, but I am experiencing a weaking of sorts. Some old side effects are raising their ugly heads. Do you, since you are in close contact with Dr. Bahari, think I would do better, if I raised my LDN dose to 4.5mg? I've been on 3mg for 9 months now (maybe I'm in labor...lol). I know Dr. Bahari raised your's, and you are doing well, still, I hope? Give me your input, please, and anyone else who wants to add their 2 cents....except Larry, because I think I am on his people that bad things happen to, after not being nice to him list... Thanks and love to all, SallyC. noclue915@a... wrote: > Jen , there is nothing to check. The only advice I could give you is to give > the 4.5 a chance. Guest guest
Sally, you have gone through so much sadness, anyone would be weak! Remember , any stress brings out old symptoms, mental and physical. Again I remind you to check for UTI , teeth, gums, even a cold. It is really up yo you if you want to try the 4.5mgs. It shouldn't hurt, you can always drop down. But I think you should try it at 9-9;30pm. I remember you were taking yours later. If you try, feel stiffness after 3 -4 days drop back. That is what Dr. B told me when he raised mine.If only insomnia and no stiffness, stick with it. It took me 17days of insomnia, but I have never slept better. Remember our motto, More is not always better. Keep us posted and know he is in a better place. Hugs to you Kiki
Guest guest
Hi Sally I hope that you are feeling better after all that you have been through. My heart goes out to you. My two cents as far as LDN goes is: Try the 4.5 mg and if after a while it doesn't do well by you than you could always go back to 3mg. You have nothing to loose. You might even take the 4.5 mg capsule and dump out a little each night. Not go back to 3mg but maybe down to 4mg. From what I am gathering from talking to Dr. Bihari, you have to find your own dose, what is right for you. Good luck Marie ----- Original Message ----- From: " Sally " <salpal@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2004 2:52 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: ldn and what to check? Guest guest
Thanks Marie for your kind thoughts....I think I will ty the 4.5mg to see if there is any improvement.....like you say, what have I got to lose. Do you take your LDN at 9/9:30, as KIKI(noclue) does? Love, Sally " Marie Deady " <Mardea@b...> wrote: Hi Sally I hope that you are feeling better after all that you have been through. Guest guest
Time is really quite important for me. My wife and I went out last night and got home late 11:30 so my ldn. pill was at 11:45 Now wether the late night( for me) or taking it at one and a half hours later or both but today I want to drop! I have been on 3.5 mgs now for a month and am stable .No progression in symptoms at all and my bladder control would compare to that of a teenage girl.In my experience I would never try to outlast my date, when it came to washroom breaks that is! I am still quite tickled about that. Now if I could control my emotions like when I was a teen....Reg. -------Original Message------- From: low dose naltrexone Date: 01/22/04 09:51:15 low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: ldn and what to check? Guest guest
Sally I take my LDN between 10:30 to 11:30 PM but I have taken it at different times too and saw no difference. Guest guest
Aww Sally sorry you’re experiencing some what sounds to be returning symptoms. I know since I’ve been here I’ve read that symptoms from the past may raise their heads now and then. Maybe you can ride it out and see however have you tried 4.5. From what I have read people are supposed to start at 3mg and rise to 4.5 mg’s in some odd cases some people take higher but very few I gather. And in some cases people can’t stand the stiffness LDN at higher doses can cause and after waiting a month or so if it doesn’t pass or ease have been told to go back to 3 mg or 3.5 mg. So I’d try the 4.5 mg if I were you. But I am not so take all the info you get and form your own decision that you’ll be comfy with. *hugs* & Best wishes, From: Sally [mailto:salpal@...] Sent: Thursday, January 22, 2004 2:53 AM low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: ldn and what to check? Guest guest
Thank you for your input...Yes i did try 4.5mg several months ago, and had the stiff legs, so I decided to go back to 3mg. I've been doing very well on the 3mg, but lately, with all I.ve had to deal with, I have had a little more weakness and I am not sleeping well. I thought maybe I might need the higher dose for awhile, and if I do well, I will stay on the 4.5....if not, I'll go back to 3. I'll start tonight, and take it at 9/9:30. maybe the time takiing it will make the difference.....I used to take it at midnight or later. Kiki has said that Dr Bahari told her to take at 9/9:30, and she is doing well. What the h***!! I just want to feel better. Love and hugs, Sally " I AM CANADIAN " > I'd try the 4.5 mg if I were you. Guest guest
If you can't handle 4.5 mg you might want to try something between 3 and 4.5. It can be made in any designated size. Guest guest
Thanks Noland, I started 4.5mg last night, so we'll see how it goes. I may do just what you suggest, if it doesn't go well.
