P McGall,

I hope you'll be adjusting better as your T-3 and T-4 go up, but I'd be very

careful

about Xanax, especially, and other things you may be using to help relieve

symptoms in

the meantime. Xanax and other benzodiazepines can be devilishly hard to get off

when

you try to stop them; and that and other things can have bad side-effects and

interactions with other drugs or supplements. One good new site for this is

iGuard.com....

I may want to go to Armour in due course, but I and my doc felt more comfortable

for

now adding Cytomel

(T-3) to my Levoxyl (T-4) and seeing what happens over several weeks.

Meanwhile, I do

seem to be having worse fatigue, muscle aches, sharp twinges of pain, and extra

sleep

during the day. (As Chuck suggests, I may be on only half the replacement dose

of

Levoxyly that I will ultimately need.
