Are there negative numbers, say -12. No. The concentration units are nanomolar (10^-9 moles per liter). These cannot be (meaningfully) negative, but they can be a lot lower than yours. If you drink a lot of caffeine most days and then stop for the day of the test, that can suppress adrenals all by itself. > .... When should I start to be concerned? Fix the RT3 and then see if the adrenal type issues continue. Keep in mind, the HPA axis is a complex network of feedback loops that can interfere with each other. Absorption is one issue, but look at the overlap between symptoms: Weight loss or weight gain Head aches Exhaustion Aching joints Depression Irritability and behavioural changes Nutritional deficiencies due to malabsorbtion e.g. low iron levels Gastro-intestinal problems (bloating, pain, gas, constipation, diarrhea) Fat in the stools (due to poor digestion) Eczema Infertility, irregular menstrual cycle and miscarriage Cramps, tingling and numbness Slow infant and child growth Decline in dental health Undiagnosed for long periods of time, food intolerances have been found to contribute to diabetes, bowel cancer, anemia and osteoporosis. Guest guest
yeah. come on over to my group home to see the horrors of allopathic medicine/big pharma in action. I am quite sure this time will be viewed as the middle ages of medicine. treating every symptoms with a differnet drug--never treating the cause. Gracia All obvious signs of improperly treated hypothyroidism. She needs adrenal treatment and megadoses of iodine... Guest guest
My goodness Gracia, you take ghazillions of kinds of meds to maintain your health, either self prescribing or from an alternative doc. What on earth makes your alternative approach any different from the allopathic? Is your approach better because you don't buy your myriad of drugs from " big pharma " but from somewhere else? What are you and your doc doing to " treat the cause " by taking so many meds? This 'bigpharma/allopathic medicine " line doesn't hold water. I've heard this argument from others too and wonder what it is they think we can do in terms of " treatment " ? Certainly if we don 't treat, people will die earlier and be sick longer. That's a fact. If we have a bad heart, we HAVE to medicate it - we surely can't live WITHOUT it..or borrow one til ours is better....etc.etc.. If we have a failing/sick thyroid, or adrenal glands or liver or whatever - the same thing applies. WHATEVER the method of treatment - it all boils down to the same things - prescriptions to prolong life in a more comfortable manner.
