Interferon an immunosuppressant? (Take 2)

Look Lynda, you're not going to come on my thread and hijack my whole

point. Just because you had side effects from interferons, like most

people I might add, does not mean it " lowered " your immune system.

Antknee originally wrote me to tell me that interferons lower

immunity, now she wants to say that she was talking about her side

effects and you " agree. "

So I guess false alarm, huh? Pheww! For a minute there, I thought I

was hearing something totally incorrect by the people we are trusting

the most with our life. For a minute there I thought that Dr.

Lawrence completely destroyed his credibility by referring to

interferon as immunosuppressive, according to someone's post about

their doctor visit with him. (Let us not forget the world famous

metaphor of the candle and the water..whatever)

Look people, I'm not saying LDN doesn't work and I'm not saying the

side effects of the meds don't diminish quality of life. But,

spreading falsehoods, and not admitting that you are spreading

falsehoods (antknee and others), only hurts all of us in our quest to

find out the truth about LDN. It hurts credibility. After

credibility is damaged people tend to not want to listen anymore.

e.g.-I am done ever having a conversation with antknee. You should

have said, " I don't know for sure, but, it's been my experience that

I have been more suspectible to colds AND BTW, I sure do hate those

side effects. " But you didn't. When it comes to my ms, I like to

live in the " no-spin " zone. So, in terms of offering your input to

me, you're out! Get it? Good!

I just want the truth like we all should want. Right? If that

statement is incorrect on the website, then it needs to be changed.

The start of that change will be when we all stop " letting it

slide. " This is a very serious disease. Right? Am I right? So,

there should be no room for these incorrect statements being part of

our " pledge of allegiance to LDN. "

After we establish that it is wrong that interferon is

immunosuppresive, someone (someone with proper command of medical

knowledge) should write the website and ask them to re-evaluate

whether interferon and LDN conteract one another. I'm not passing on

disease modifying treatments until LDN is confirmed for efficacy.

Oh, and some of you act like saying something about LDN is like

saying something about your little cousin. LDN is some unconfirmed

treatment that I am taking. If someone says something bad about it,

I would like to hear it rather than drown them out with the usual

propaganda.
